Some Moments. When I began making photographs, I was struggling to find a reason to enjoy living in NYC. Most moments were a perpetual inconvenience, delaying my ability to maintain routines and realize some false perception of “moving forward.” Photography facilitated a gradual shift from a contemptuous passerby to the grateful observer. Fleeting moments now carry me onward, appreciative of not only the city but of any place I may find myself. The subway isn’t quite as terrible as it used to be (sometimes).
