Portfolio showcase | This submission is basically a cross-section of my work over the past few years of practicing street photography. I’m looking for little moments that are easy to miss in everyday, mundane life, slices of life stripped of the context that can be surreal, surprising and entertaining at times. I’m also concerned with today’s modern lifestyle and its effects on humankind. I do my best to stay open-minded to various themes and ways of approaching street photography.
COUNTRY | Poland
BIO | My name is Michał Czarnecki, I live and work in Warsaw, Poland where I take most of my photographs. My interest in photography arose in 2012 when I attended a documentary photography course. This was an eye-opening experience that completely changed my view on photography. In the next years, I continued to educate myself to be attending workshops, meetings, as well as exploring renowned photographers’ work. I do my best to practice on the streets of my home town as often as possible. I’m a co-founder of Flaneurs Photo Collective.
