The street has always affected me in a peculiar way. I feel simultaneously fear and uncertainty, sometimes discomfort because of the typical chaos that rules there, but also a very strong attraction. Life, the thousands of characters, stories, moments and emotions crisscrossing the city streets, both scary and alluring with their mysteriousness. To me, street photography is a way of exploring, understanding and making sense of the world around me, but at the same time an escape into a space that allows me to discover myself.
